Hi there, it's been a while since I've been in touch, but my graft is slowly changing and settling down. I continue to massage rosehip oil into the graft about three times a day, and into the scar on my collarbone twice a day and I think it is making a difference. My final check-up with the plastic surgeon late July went well - he was pleased with my progress and I don't go back to him for another six months. All the questions I had for him about the feel and appearance of my graft were basically answered by giving it time so I will just have to be patient. Everyone says how good it looks which is very encouraging, seeing it's only just over three months since the surgery, so I am fairly positive about how it may look in say another year. Let's hope my optimism is rewarded! Once again your photo looks good and you can be reassured that your graft appears to be quite insignificant in appearance. As spring and summer are approaching in New Zealand I need to buy some hats as although my days of sunbathing at the beach are over, I spend a lot of time out in my garden and feel rather paranoid now about ever getting burnt again!! Plus I will wear sunblock, of course. I hope you are feeling positive and happier with yourself and I look forward to keeping in touch and comparing notes. Warmest wishes, Glenda
